Soukaina Fadli is a working student at Studio Nima and a graduate candidate pursuing a masters degree in Sustainable Resource Management. Soukaina graduated from the University of Al Akhawayn with a double degree in Engineering and Management Science with a focus on Environmental Engineering. Her thesis question dabbled with the valorisation of spent coffee grounds, in which she investigated the potential of the waste for biodiesel and biomass production.
Her career began within the consulting company Africa Climate Solutions in Morocco, in which she has worked with numerous clients providing mitigation and adaptation solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and identifying fitting financing solutions. Prior to this, Soukaina has also worked as a Sustainability Analyst for Corporate Social Responsibility, and ESG investing and analysis in Vigeo Eiris, an affiliate of Moody’s Investors Services. Before joining Studio Nima, Soukaina took on an M.Sc. Sustainable Resource Management (SRM) at the Technical University of Munich. Within her graduate programme, Soukaina is currently specializing in the utilization and treatment of special materials and waste & Waste-to-energy processes.
