Kate has joined Studio Nima in March 2020 as a Business Development Analyst. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics. Kate has a background as Industrial Engineer and a Specialization in Social Intervention Processes at the Universidad del Valle.
Kate has led her family business to expand into several Latin American markets as the market leader in air-dried clay and co-founded a Social Business in Colombia which advances working conditions of handymen in the home repairment sector. Furthermore, she conducted a feasibility study to design community-based solutions to address malnutrition in Kenya.
She has lived and worked in Germany and Australia, where she has been part of different social initiatives, such as the Global Shapers Community, the Chevening Alumni and the DAAD Alumni network.
