Studio Nima and French designer NIARK1 collaborated to create an artwork that shines a spotlight on the untapped and tremendous potential of nature to develop sustainable materials and products for future generations. We see a fascinating world of material innovations emerging that harness the power of nature. These bio-based materials utilize algae, mycelium – the root-like structure of fungi – plants and crops, as well as agricultural and food waste streams and turn them into valuable resources and novel materials.

Time for all of us to rethink…from shoes to clothing, from packaging to the built environment.
